Zanardi fastest at Vallelunga
Alex Zanardi (pictured) was fastest in the first day of the Valleluga tests. Former F1 driver and Indycar ace set the time of 1:33.673 in the Roal Motorsport’s “Blancpain” Bmw Z4. His team mate Stefano Comandini ended second with 1:33.996.
Third time for Michela Cerruti, who clocked 1:34.112 in the morning session. The last year’s pole position of Italian GT was of the Black Bull’s Ferrari 458 GT3 of Mirko Venturi, who set 1:34.3 using the Avon tyres. The test will continue tomorrow, Wednesday 26th, when also David Fumanelli, Stefano Colombo and Eugenio Amos are expected at the wheel.
