Van de Laar secures victory at Sebring

19-year-old Dennis van de Laar (in picture) won on the wet the first race of the Florida Winter Series at the Sebring track. Dutch driver, who started from the first row, took the lead in the last two laps and finished ahead of pole sitter Ferrari Academy’s Antonio Fuoco.

Canadian Nicholas Latifi took the third place, while Max Verstappen was fourth. The son of the former F1 driver Jos, set the fastest time in Q2 and will start from top in Race 3. Verstappen led for eight of the 13 laps.

Reigning European F3 champion and Ferrari Academy’s driver Raffaele Marciello was fifth.
