SRT enters Corvette C6 ZR1 in the GT Open
Selleslagh Racing Team comes back to forefront racing after two years of absence. The Belgian squad will enter a Corvette C6 ZR1 in the 2014 International GT Open, actually one of the Pratt&Miller cars that raced the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year, which is currently being adapted to series’ specifications. Contacts are under way to recruit a top driver line-up.
SRT has been successful with the Corvette in the years between 2003 and 2011, claiming the Belgian GT title in 2005, two wins at the 24 Hours of Zolder (2005-2006) and five wins in the FIA GT series, where it has been a consistent front-runner. SRT also prepared the V8 Racing Corvettes in the GT Open during the last two seasons.
