Schumacher secures third win

Mick Schumacher took his third FIA F3 European Championship victory of the season, as he claimed a lights-to-flag win in Misano opening race, leading a 1-2-3-4 for Prema Theodore Racing.

The German driver started from the pole position to finish ahead his team mates Marcus Armstrong, Robert Shvartzman and Guanyu Zhou.

Motorpark’s Daniel Ticktum finished on sixth. Il means the British driver maintains the series’ lead by six points over Armstrong.

“The potential has always been there, but initially, we weren’t able to make full use of it“, said Schumacher, “Since Spa-Francorchamps, however, things have been going pretty well and I am happy that I am now also able to show what I can achieve in the races. Today, I was able to pull a gap at the start and on the first lap and then I tried to manage it.”
