
Schumacher secures FIA F3 title
Mick Schumacher claimed the 2018 FIA Formula 3 European Championship title. The 19-year-old driver of the Prema Theodore Racing secured the crown by finishing second in race two at Hockenheim, whilst his only remaining rival Motopark’s Daniel Ticktum took the seventh place.
Robert Shvartzman claimed the Rookie title and his second FIA F3 victory as he topped the final race of the weekend also for Prema team. The Russian crossed the finish line more than ten seconds ahead of second-placed Schumacher.
The other victories at Hockenheim went to Prema’s Guen Yu Zhou and Motorpark’s Juri Vips.
