SaxonAir partners Seb Morris

British GT Championship title challenger Seb Morris is delighted to officially welcome fast growing private air travel company SaxonAir to his exclusive portfolio of sponsors for 2017, with little over a week to go until the start of the brand new season.

In a deal brokered by the Marford racer’s management agency Full Contact, SaxonAir has become private air travel partner for Morris ahead of his second season in British GT. As such, the brand features on the livery of the Bentley Continental GT3 race car he shares with Rick Parfitt Jnr and on Morris’ race overalls. Additionally, a series of activation initiatives are planned during the year.

“I am thrilled to partner with SaxonAir”, said Morris, “It has been great to meet the team – starting with them coming to support me at Snetterton last season – and their growth over the last few years speaks for itself. I can’t wait to work with them in activating this partnership within motorsport.”

SaxonAir is one of the fastest growing aviation companies in the UK, having been established in 2007 with the aim of providing flexible and cost effective private air travel. Now part of the Klyne Aviation Group, the company operates from bases throughout Europe covering both Helicopter and Aircraft operations at London Luton, London Stansted, Norwich and Cambridge.

On behalf of SaxonAir, Chris Mace commented: “Sport is a large sector of our business, we provide helicopters and jets for events throughout Europe and the connection with Seb as one of the young racing stars for the future in the Bentley GT3 is a real fit for our business.

“It will enable us to raise profile and connect with many potential new clients in the racing sector.  Seb, Rick [Parfitt Jnr] and the whole team are all true professionals with a huge passion for racing and we will be providing our full support throughout this season.”

Morris and Parfitt Jnr will get their 2017 British GT challenge with Team Parker Racing underway just over a week from now at Oulton Park International Circuit. Practice and qualifying will take place on Saturday, 15th April, with the first two races of the season scheduled for Easter Monday, 17th April.
