Rosberg scores fourth consecutive pole
Nico Rosberg scored at Spa his fourth successive pole position for Mercedes. In wet conditions, the German set the quickest time of 2:05.591, almost a quarter of a second quicker than his team mate Lewis Hamilton, with Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel more than two seconds further back in third.
Ferrari‘s Fernando Alonso took fourth. The other Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo finished fifth. Valtteri Bottas (Williams), Kevin Magnussen (McLaren), Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari), Felipe Massa (Williams) and Jenson Button (McLaren), completed the top ten.
The Toro Rosso drivers Daniil Kvyat and Jean-Eric Vergne where 11th and 12th. Newcomer Andre Lotterer finished 21st for Caterham ahead of his team mate Marcus Ericsson.
