Rob Bell takes pole at Estoril
Rob Bell claimed the first 2017 International GT Open pole position. The Brit set the quickest time in 1:36.346 with the Balfe Motorsport McLaren 650S. With seven cars within one second, the second-fastest Emil Frey Lexus RC-F GT3 of Abert Costa paid only 5 tenths.
The Garage59 McLaren of Côme Ledogar and the AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 of Marco Cioci will start race one from the second row, followed by the Imperiale Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3 of Giovanni Venturini and the Drivex Mercedes AMG of Allam Khodair.
Another Mercedes topped the rankings in the AM class, with reigning co-champion António Coimbra (Sports&You) ahead of the BMW of fellow home racer Filipe Barreiros.
