
Renauer’s Porsche takes pole for Race 1
ADAC GT Master championship leader Robert Renauer, put his Precote Herbert Motorsport-run Porsche 911 GT3 car on pole position at the Hockenheimring, after a twice red-flagged first qualifying early this morning.
The German driver set the best time in 1:38.481s, by 0.269 milliseconds over the second placed Sheldon Van der Linde‘s Audi. Third time was of the Callaway Competition Corvette driven by Marvin Kirchhöfer. Markus Pommer’s Mercedes will start from the second row alongside him, having lapped in 1:38.861, the same time of BWT Mücke Motorsport Audi of Ricardo Feller.
Mike Ortmann (Audi), Aaro Vainio (Lamborghini), Chris Mies (Audi), Davide Rigon (Ferrari) and Mikkel Jensen (BMW) rounded out the top-10.
