Racing Engineering announces Coletti

GP2 race winner Stefano Coletti has joined Racing Engineering for the upcoming season. The Monegasque driver can look back on a very successful 2013, where he took three race wins, three podiums, one pole position and set the fastest race lap on three occasions. Stefano and Racing Engineering’s driver Fabio Leimer fought hard for the title in that year, but in the end it was the Swiss, who was crowned GP2 champion in Abu Dhabi. Now the Stefano’s goal is to become champion.

Coletti (24) started his racing career in karting in 2002 and moved to single seaters in 2005. After graduating to Formula Bmw and Renault 2.0 he switched to Formula 3. In 2011 Stefano completed his first season in GP2, a series he has continued to race in ever since and making steady progress the whole time. Last year he was close to taking the GP2 championship title, impressing with his performances and with his fantastic win at his home race in Monaco.

Stefano joins Raffaele Marciello for the 2014 GP2 championship at Racing Engineering.
