Quaife-Hobbs joins Team Rapax
Team Rapax announced the agreement reached with Adrian Quaife-Hobbs, who will be lining-up at the start of the 2014 GP2 Series with the Italian-based squad. The 23-year-old Briton is set to partner the already-confirmed Simon Trummer in an high-quality pairing for the 10th season of the Formula 1 feeder series.
Quaife-Hobbs will be at his second GP2 Series season. Last year, at his maiden run in the series, he went on to score an impressive win, at Monza for Hilmer Motorsport team. I am delighted to be joining Rapax for my 2014 season in GP2. After a successful rookie year in the 2013 GP2 season I am looking forward to returning this season to fight for the championship. Together with Rapax I feel we can have a winning season. I am looking forward to getting in the car in Abu Dhabi for pre-season testing and working alongside a great team. – said Adrian.
The first collective test of the year is set for March 11th to 13th at the Yas Marina track in Abu Dhabi, almost one month before the championship kick-off on the 5th and 6th of April at Al Sakhir, Bahrain.
