Preining secures second pole
Thomas Preining secured his second pole position in Budapest for the sixth round of Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The BWT Lechner Racing 20-year-old Austrian racer set the time of 1:46.786, three tenth of seconds faster the martinet by Almeras’ Julien Andlauer.
MRS GT-Racing drivers Zaid Ashkanani and Chritopher Zöchling will start the race from the second row. Championship leader Michael Ammermüller finished seventh, ahead of his rival Nick Yelloly who was eight in the Fach Auto Tech car.
The best driver in the Rookie category was Frenchman Florian Latorre, sixth overall with the martinet by Almeras nine-eleven. Pole position in PRO-AM went to Norwegian Roar Lindland (Lechner Racing Middle East).
