Preining fastest in Spa

BWT Lechner Racing’s Thomas Preining claimed the pole position for the seventh round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Porsche Junior driver set the lap time of 2:21.848, four tenth of second faster than Julien Andlauer.

Larry ten Voorde and Zaid Askanani share the second row of the grid, while Nick Yelloly will start from fifth. Current points’ leader Michael Ammermüller set the seventh quickest time. The best Pro/Am class driver was Nicolas Misslin.

Felix Rosenqvist celebrated his debut in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup with the Vip-Porsche car with the tenth time, lapping in 2:22.940, just 1.1-seconds shy of the pole-sitter Preining.
