Pommer sets the pace in practice 1
Markus Pommer set the quickest lap time of Practice 1 at Budapest, in the third round of the Auto GP series. The German Super Nova driver continued to impress as teams and drivers of the Coloni-promoted series hit the Hungaroring track.
Pommer set his fastest 1:35.755 to top local favorite Tamas Pal Kiss (Zele Racing). Euronova’s Kimiya Sato took third in front of returning 2013 Champion Vittorio Ghirelli, who lined-up for Super Nova. Female racer Michela Cerruti, also driving for the British team, rounded out the top-5 in front of Andrea Roda (Virtuosi UK), Loris Spinelli and Kevin Giovesi (both for Eurotech). The top-10 was completed by Yoshitaka Kuroda (Zele Racing) and Michele La Rosa (MLR71 by Euronova).
