Pizzonia tops Vallelunga testing
Antonio Pizzonia set the quickest time in the Auto GP official testing at Vallelunga. Brazilian racer clocked 1:23.196 for Zele Racing completing 50 laps in the last day.
Second fastest was Sebastian Balthasar; the Manor MP Motorsport‘s German driver was six tenth slower than Pizzonia and finished ahead 2013 Auto GP champion Vittorio Ghirelli (Ibiza Racing Team).
Fourh time for Renè Binder, who entered the Vallelunga testing in preparation of the next week’s GP2 Series testing at Abu Dhabi and was followed by Giuseppe Cipriani and Nikita Zlobin (Virtuosi Racing).
Behind them finished Francesco Dracone (Super Nova International), among the morning’s leaders with the medium Kumho tires, and Colombian rookie Andrès Mendez, driving the other car lined up by Zele Racing.
