Oriola continues with Craft-Bamboo

Pepe Oriola will come back to drive the Seat Leon TCR, to face his third season in the TCR International Series, inside the structure of Craft-Bamboo Lukoil y Seat Sport. The spanish driver will be part of a solid sport programme to follow, one more year, as a professional in the world of tourism.

I am excited to follow in this championship that is a world reference in the tourism cars and to follow hooked to this team where I feel really good. In the last two seasons we achieved important results and this must be the year of my consolidation in this championship”, has said Pepe Oriola, who will be in the Seat team.

“The relationship with Seat is very long since I was 15 years old. There are no words to express my gratefulness that I have for SEAT Sport for his help since my formation as a driver to nowadays as a professional”, has added Pepe Oriola, that in this season will compete with the sponsorship of Vogue Spain.

It miss just more than one month to start the season and I am really excited because it could be my year. Being part of Craft-Bamboo Lukoil with Seat Sport is a guarantee that we can do something big this year in the TCR. And, with the support of Vogue, I hope to inspire in a season where I start as the favourite one. Moreover, the calendar of TCR this year is really interesting and exciting, as there are new circuits, as Monaco, where we share the cartel with the Formula 1. Sure that it will be one of the most interesting races of the year, but also Yas Marina or Georgia, just to say the news of this year, convert the TCR in one of the best at world level”, said Pepe Oriola, who is now at the Adria Raceway preparing the new season that will start the next 2nd of April in the Rustavi International Motorpark (Georgia).

The TCR International Series 2017 will host 10 meetings, and they will share the cartel with the Formula 1 three times: Barhein (16th of april), Monaco (28th of may) and Abu Dhabi (26th of november); as well as the sharing with WEC in Spa-Francorchamps the 7th of may. There will be races in Salzburgring (11th of june), Budapest (2nd of july), Oschersleben (9th of july), Thailand (3rd of september) and Shanghai (8th of october), before the last race in Abu Dhabi.
