New Bmw M4 DTM hit the track in Spain

The DTM teams representing the Bmw brand tested three days at Monteblanco (Spain) last week. In these tests, two new Bmw M4 were tested for the first time.

The focus of the testing work was set on the aerodynamics and the tests were contested by the six Bmw drivers António Félix da Costa, Augusto Farfus, Timo Glock, Maxime Martin, Bruno Spengler and Marco Wittmann. In changeable conditions, they covered a total mileage of about 2,500 kilometres.

The 2014 DTM season will be the first the Munich-based manufacturer is going to contest with the Bmw M4. With its predecessor Bmw M3, Bruno Spengler won the title in 2012 in the Bmw’s comeback season.

The official tests will be held from 31st March to 3rd April at Hungaroring and from 14th to 17th April at the Hockenheimring.
