Lamborghini Squadra Corse announces 2016 GT3 Junior Program
Lamborghini Squadra Corse has confirmed its continuing commitment to supporting promising youngsters in motorsport, with its 2016 GT3 Junior Program.
Launched in 2015, it is the official program of Lamborghini’s racing department, with the aim of supporting young drivers along a development path to experience the main GT races worldwide. The 2016 edition of the GT3 Junior Program has developed to include 19 drivers (eight in 2015), 13 of whom come from the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo,
thus taking the leap from the wheel of the Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo to the Lamborghini Huracán GT3.
All drivers will take part in major 2016 GT championships with the Huracán GT3, a car which is enjoying successful sales and has given Lamborghini Squadra Corse the opportunity of increasing its GT3 Junior Program squad.
