King returns to Carlin

British F3 champion Jordan King will return to Carlin for the 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The 19 year-old racer also finished top rookie in the FIA European series after taking sixth in the overall driver last year.

Last season King claimed Carlin’s ninth British F3 title, taking eight podiums and three race wins after a three way battle for the title at the season finale. King topped off a strong 2013 with a brilliant performance at the Macau Grand Prix in November, finishing fifth as the top rookie and also claiming the fastest lap on his first visit to the challenging street circuit.

King was champion in the MRF Challenge in 2011/2012, vice champion in 2012/2013 and raced in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 prior to F3. The British racer was also previously a race winner in the Toyota Racing Series in 2012.
