Jeroen Mul scores double at Silverstone
It was a weekend to remember for Jeroen Mul (Lamborghini Automobili RT Germany), who scored an amazing double win at Silverstone, in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Round 3-4. The Dutchman had no rivals and in Race 2 ruled from start to finish flag, ahead of the GRT Grasser Racing Team duo made up by Gerhard Tweraser and Sandro Bickel.
The two PRO-AM class winners achieved an impressive recovery from 11th on the grid to finish in second. The newcomer Giovanni Venturini (Eurotech Engineering) claimed two third overall places. The other Italian Simone Pellegrinelli (DTMotorsport) dominated the AM class in both the races taking four wins in a row so far this season.
Milos Pavlovic and Edoardo Piscopo finished second in Race 1 and mantained their championship lead in the PRO class, one point ahead Mul.
Youngster Italian Alberto Di Folco claimed a first and a second place in the PRO-AM class for Autocarrozzeria Imperale and now takes the second place in the championship, one point behind Aristotelis Vavaroussis.
Andrea Palma, who won the first round at Monza, paid different problems.
