Jager fastest in Monza free practices
Thomas Jäger set the best lap time of the day in the free practice at the Monza circuit. The German driver, sharing the Lechner Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Mario Plachutta, posted a best 1:48.575s in the second session, beating the RS Ferrari 488 GT3 of Daniele Di Amato and Andrea Montermini by 0.276. The Italian car had been the fastest in the morning session, slightly above (0.11 seconds) of the 1.49 threshold.
The Target Racing Lamborghini entered in the Am class with Stefano Costantini and Bernard Delhez, was third-fastest ahead of the other Huracán GT3 of the Imperiale Racing‘s pair Raffaele Giammaria and Jiatong Liang. No less than 14 cars finished the day within the same second.
The last driver changes see the reigning Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe and North America champion Loris Spinelli joining the Pro Target car alongside Alberto Di Folco and Dominik Schwager pairing Christian Hook on one of the two Rinaldi Racing Ferraris.
