Hughes/Speedworks to compete 12H Mugello
24H Dubai class winner Hughes/Speedworks team have announced it is to compete in the 12 Hours Italy-Mugello scheduled for mid-March.
The team have named an unchanged driver line-up of former BTCC racer Tony Hughes, Speedworks Principal and ex-British GT ace Christian Dick, Ross Warburton and Will Scully. They all will share the Ginetta G50 that they took to the first place in SP3 (GT4) class last January.
We’re still on a high after the Dubai result, but again we’ll go to Italy with no real expectations other than to enjoy ourselves and come back with a respectable finish. – said Tony Hughes – There will be some stiff opposition this time around as fellow Ginetta racers Nova Race will field no less than three G50’s at their home event of the series.
