GDL Racing to line up three cars
GDL Racing is set for its home race at Mugello. The Autodromo Internazionale this week hosts the inaugural edition of the Dunlop 12H Italy, where the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad will line up three cars.
After missing the podium and the AM class win – due to a race contact – in the last 24 Hours of Dubai last January, GDL Racing aims to the top entering a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 in the A6 class for Singaporean Gerald Tan, Malaysian Lim Keong Liam and Hong Kong’s Nigel Farmer. The latter already raced in Italy the 6 Ore di Roma, where he scored the six overall place and the second among the GT3 cars.
GDL Racing will also line up two Porsche 997 Cup S racecars. The first will be driven by the all-Australian crew Malcom Niall, Marc Pilatti. Russian Pavel Karmanov and Italians Roberto Fecchio and experienced Marco Mapelli will share the wheel of the other German car.
