Euronova starts F4 preparation
Euronova Racing completed an intense 3-day test at the Italian circuit of Vallelunga. The test represented the start of the team’s preparation for the 2014 Italian Formula 4 Championship and four different drivers drove over the three days.
The team which is run by Vincenzo Sospiri was represented by the two SMP Racing drivers from Russia Alexandra Zabolotnyaya and Ivan Matveev, both of whom completed three full days, and by Italians Leonardo Pulcini and Andrea Fontana who ran for two days each.
Euronova put at the disposal of the drivers Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Abarth cars modifiied with a special kit to simulate as closely as possible the new Formula 4 chassis which will be ready later this year.
I’m very satisfied with how this test went. The weather was perfect so we were able to do a lot of laps which means that the drivers have all learnt a lot and it’s been a very useful starting point. – said Vincenzo Sospiri.
Euronova will continue testing next week.
