Durksen continues with BWT Mucke

Joshua Dürksen is the first driver announced by BWT Mücke Motorsport for the 2021 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth.

The 17-year-old Paraguayan, after finishing fourth in the 2019 Rookie standing in Italy, was a race winner last year at the Red Bull Ring with the German team.

At his third season in Formula 4, Dürksen commented, “I can’t wait to go back to Berlin to meet the team and be ready for the season. I am really happy to continue with Team BWT Mücke Motorsport and I am very grateful for their trust and support. It’s a bit like going back to my second family. It will certainly be a difficult challenge in an F4 grid, once again, with over 30 cars. There are many talented young rookies and experienced drivers, but we will certainly be at the forefront to play for the 2021 title.”

“There is no doubt about Joshua’s talent. He has proven to be fast in both tests and races and is one of the most successful drivers”, Team principal Peter Mücke said. “After a difficult season in 2020, this could be his year and we will support him as much as possible to fight for the championship.
