
Drugovich set the best time in Monza
Championship leader Felipe Drugovich was fastest in his RP Motorsport-run Dallara during the two free practice sessions held at Monza. Brazilian driver set the time of 1:46.559s, less than a tenth of a second quicker than Marcos Siebert’s best effort. Siebert still managed to complete a faster lap yesterday during private test sessions. The Argentinean driver of Campos Racing set a lap time of 1:45.984s in the final private test session.
Drugovich team mate Guilherme Samaia delivered a strong performance to finish 3rd fastest ahead of Fortec’s Calan Williams. Further adrift, Matheus Iorio took the fifth place for Carlin, with Lukas Dunner spearheading the Drivex team charge in sixth. Cameron Das (Carlin) ranked seventh in the timesheets with Alex Karkosik (Campos Racing) in eighth position.
Newcomer Kaylen Frederick (RP Motorsport) made it into the top-ten ahead of Bent Viscaal (Teo Martín Motorsport). Another debutant, local star Leonardo Lorandi (RP Motorsport), classified eleventh with his fellow countryman Aldo Festante (Teo Martín Motorsport) right behind. Finally, Christian Hahn (Drivex) set the 13th fastest time with Dev Gore (Carlin) in 14th.
