Craft-Bamboo enters Asian LMS
Craft-Bamboo Racing is planning to enter a Morgan-Judd LMP2 car and two Ligier CN prototypes to Asian Le Mans Series in 2014. The team is a merger of Craft Racing and Bamboo Engineering. Bamboo Engineering is best known for its WTCC and GP3 successes, while Craft Racing has been a dominant force in the Asian GT scene in recent years as it finished second in the GTC Class in the Asian LMS 2013.
At the same time Onroak Automotive confirmed it will support the CN Class of 2014 Asian LMS by creating the Ligier Asian Challenge open to the Ligier JS 53 EVO prototypes. The winners of Ligier Asian Challenge will test a LMP2 car the day after the final event of season at Sepang International Circuit on 8th December.
In the last days, Patrick Dias – Michelin Asia-Pacific Motorsport Manager – announced that Michelin will continue to be a commercial partner and the official tire supplier for the Asian Le Mans Series.
