British GT and F3 opener postponed

BRDC British Formula 3 Championship and Intelligent Money British GT Championship season will get underway seven weeks later than originally scheduled, on 22nd/23rd May at Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit. In light of the ongoing situation surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, both series openers have been postponed.

Making a series of revisions to the 2021 schedule to ensure the full 24-race BRDC British F3 season can take place unencumbered, the new season will now conclude over the weekend 16th/17th October at Donington Park alongside British GT. Intelligent Money British GT Championship will consist of seven events and nine races in total.

May 22/23: Brands Hatch GP (1x 2-hour race)
June 26/27: Silverstone 500 (1x 3-hour race)
July 10/11: Donington Park (1x 2-hour race)
July 24/25: Spa-Francorchamps (1x 2-hour race)
August 7/8: Snetterton (2x 1-hour races)
September 11/12: Oulton Park (2x 1-hour races)
October 16/17: Donington Park (1x 2-hour race)

7/8 August – Snetterton 300
14/15 August – Silverstone GP (standalone MSVR round)
