Bleekemolen on pole at 24H Barcelona
The Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán GT3 claimed the pole position for Hankook 24H Barcelona. Dutchman Jeroen Bleekemolen right at the very end of the session set the fastest time of 1:49.225, pushing the Scuderia Praha Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 down to second place.
Italian Matteo Malucelli was 0.152 seconds slower than Bleekemolen. Third fastest was the Massive Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage GT3 of Casper Elgaard, Christoffer Nygaard, Kristian and Roland Poulsen, 0.933 seconds behind the Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini.
Fastest in the A6-AM class was the Drivex Audi R8 LMS ultra, although Andrés Saravia’s fastest time of 1:50.590 will see the car being moved to A6-PRO. The first A6-AM car not to go faster than the minimum reference lap time in the class was the Idec Spost Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, with a lap time of 1:53.144.
The battle for pole in TCR went all the way to the end of the session, with Sebastiaan Bleekemolen eventually claiming pole in the Team Bleekemolen Seat Leon Cup Racer. Red Camel-Jordans.nl qualified their Seat Leon Cup Racer in second place, ahead of the Baporo Motorsport car.
