45 cars at the official test days
Over 45 cars entered the two official 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series test days at Le Castellet.
Reiter Engineering Lamborghini Gallardo set the fastest time of 1:56.018 on day 1 ahead of Ferrari 458 Italia (Kessel Racing), Aston Martin Vantage (Oman Racing Team), Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 (Nissan GT Academy Team RJN), the new McLaren 650S (Von Ryan Racing), and the ISR Audi R8 LMS ultra completing the top six.
TDS Racing BMW Z4 (pictured) lapped 1:56.855 on Thursday. With 13 cars within the same second, Insightracing Denmark Ferrari 458 Italia ended second, while Reiter Engineering Camaro finished third.
The cars that claimed most of the attention were the new Lamborghini Huracán of Grasser Racing Team and the McLaren 650S of Von Ryan Racing, both making a first time appearance in an official Blancpain Endurance Series session. Von Ryan Racing has also announced its drivers, with Rob Bell, Kevin Estre and Alvaro Parente being joined by recently confirmed factory drivers Bruno Senna and Shane Van Gisbergen.
