Paul Aron returns to Prema
Paul Aron will be back racing with Prema Powerteam for the 2021 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The 17-year-old Estonian racing driver will make a welcome return after taking the Italian Formula 4 rookie title in his maiden year in single-seaters in 2019.
Paul, the younger brother of former Prema racer Ralf Aron, will line-up for his second season in Regional competition after delivering a podium finish in his first Formula Renault Eurocup campaign.
Before racing with Prema in Formula 4, he had already established himself as a leading prospect in 2018, when he won the CIK-FIA European Karting Championship, the WSK Champions Cup, the South Garda Winter Cup and took third place in the WSK Super Master Series. His performance enabled him to become a Junior Driver for Mercedes-AMG Formula 1.
