Coronavirus changes calendars

The opening round of the Intelligent Money British GT Championship and the BRDC British F3 have been postponed following guidance issued by the UK government and Motorsport UK in response to containing the spread of coronavirus and Covid-19. A new date for Oulton Park event, which was due to take place over Easter Bank Holiday Weekend (April 11 & 13), is already being discussed. British GT organisers, SRO Motorsports Group, still fully intend to stage seven rounds as per 2020’s original schedule.

The BTCC organisers TOCA have postponed the first three events at Donington Park (March 28/29), Brands Hatch (April 11/12) and Silverstone (April 25/26). Their intention is to run the full season of ten events.
