Ammermuller takes the first pole

Michael Ammermüller secured the pole position of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup opener in Barcelona. The  BWT Lechner Racing driver lapped in 1:47.252 minutes, finishing ahead of 32-year-old Porsche Junior Julien Andlauer in the martinet by ALMERAS‘ car.

Andlauer’s French teammate Florian Latorre claimed the third position. The 21-year-old from Bordeaux contests his first full season in the international one-make series. Fach Auto Tech’s Jaap van Lagen and his team mate Nick Yelloly rounded out the top 5.
